FURNITURE // cane back couch & chair

Here's a throw back for you!

Several years ago I found this awesome cane back couch on the side of the road (of course). It didn't fit in the cube very well...(you'll learn that I think my cube is amazing and I pack it chock full all the time). Don't worry, I only drove it like this for a few blocks.

WHAT YOU NEED: 

1. Cane backed furniture 
2. Cushion
3. Scissors 
4. Staple Gun
5. Thick fabric of sorts--I used an old blanket. 
6. Fabric--I used duck canvas fabric that I got from Joanne's on discount!
7. Hot glue gun 

Recushioning Cane Back Furniture

So after I finally got the couch and chair to my house, I had to stare at it for a few weeks to decide what to do with it. After measuring, I ordered this from Home Depot:

I think they turned out well! Also, can we talk about how beautiful my rug from World Market looked?? it was brand new. It's now stained and faded :(
