MY FIRST POST : do I really have to title every one?

I've never done a blog before, so bear with me. Ten bucks says I'll post this, and then three months later I'll realize I haven't posted anything in a while. Anyway, people have been asking for pics of my DIY ventures so I'll give it a shot. Sorry if it sucks!

Most of my DIYing projects start with trash...

I posted this pic a few weeks ago on my personal instagram (rbtruong>>this is the pic) to thank my awesome wedding photographer (Alex Doleac). I got a lot of fun feedback about my little corner, so this pic is to show that you don't have to have bookoos of bucks to have a comfy home! The photo prints, curtains and rug were the only items purchased at full cost (curtains were actually on sale). Well...the succulents were a birthday gift, so does that count?

I plan for this blog to show how trash can easily become treasure, and DIY projects don't have to be hard or scary. 

My next few posts will be tutorials on how I made this little corner almost entirely out of other people's trash.
